The Detonics Pocket .380 was made in Bellevue, Washington, in 1986 only. It was adapted from the "Pocket 9", which was made in the same location in 1985 and 1986. I believe the Pocket 9 was designed by a well known Israeli firearms designer, Dr. Nehemiah Sirkis. At the time it was the smallest 9mm pistol made. Many found the Pocket 9's recoil too much, but the design worked well in the .380. The magazines for the .380 and 9mm are the same, and both are hard to find.
