Hi Guys,

In 1986/88 I bought a Mark VII in Phx. Had some problems with the recoil spring pac and sent it back to the factory for repair. Asked them to tune it up and also to fit a Mark IV slide with sights, same S/N, also got two extra mags. Functioned fine and planned on carrying it as a B/U, but too heavy. Sat pretty much in the safe since, less that a box through it. Just found this site and am impressed. Now retired SO and thinking of putting it back in service, does the two slide pkg have any value? Have always carried 1911s, and after the orig. problem not confident in the gun, but after reading your site am interested again. Any info would be appreciated.
