Good info thank you.I 'm lucky to have an genuine ex-Detonics assembler, transplanted locally ,and also contacted new Detonics head gunsmith, I recall his name is Peter Dunn?(have email in older isp file)and he also was the old gunsmith. My gun is a blued production MK ? gun #2564 and came without an guide rod end plug and only 2 inner springs, walnut grips, one orig mag. Looks great, has weld mark on slide where it was cut. Good looking gun but trigger is heavy , and the new and old guide rod get caught on the link/pin frame area sporadically. Resulting in it sticking out farther than what is safe for relaible function. A lot of good micro .45's for less out there nowdays but nothing looks as cool. In this game function/reliability and price win out.
