I can understand why you would want one but let me tell you they are nothing but trouble you get tipdown of the top round because most magazines cannot hold the round in its proper position you have to make the brass from ideally from cutdown 45 winmag cases making them from 308 3006 cases is more trouble than its worth far better is to simply load up your stock 45 cases with good old 2400 stock cases are fine just get the double spring from kings use magnum primers I have literally filled up cases with 2400 with all bulletweights its just too slow to be a problem however the newer 2400 made by alliant seems to burn hotter so I Would start low and work up remember as slide velocitys go up ejection and magazine spring strength become critical do this at your own risk of course! do not shoot this out of any match barrels exept for clarks blued one you won't blow a case in my experience but you can crack the barrel ported feedramps are also out stronger firing pin spring is good also you can shorten your firing pin slightly also put an indent in your slidestop you will have all the good qaulities of a detonics magnum ie velocities but none of the bullshit if you really wanted you could use 45 super brass but I have split match barrels with stock cases without any case bulging you have to see it to believe it good luck and forget about conversion kit I have one its only a curio worthless exept for sentimental value Don
