OK, sounds good to me. I was looking at more pics, and it looks to be an even %95% now, but I wont know for sure until I see it up close. I am wondering though, why should I stay away from MK1's??? Are they not as quality of a firearm as the later ones????? I really think even though I like stainless more than blueing, that I like the MKI more. At least this one. The bluing is SO shiny, it looks like it would be very nice. Which, maybe, it could be a reblue.... who knows for sure until its in you hand ya know. Anyhow, thanks again for the help, any more info Id really appreciate. Also, I held the one at my gunshop today, and of course my pinky swung underneath. Ive only fired a couple guns that are like this, and I dont like it too much. But, the old reviews of the CM were very good. I read one where someone said the CM was the lightest recoiling 1911 hed EVER fired. Which is insane for a 3.5inch 45acp. Anyhow, I got to wondering, is there any way I could get a 7rd wilson mag, and attach a bump stop over the remaining part of the mag that sticks out??? I REALLY like the look of the bump stops that ship out with the sprignfield EMPs, and the Kimber ultra CDPs. I bet you could modify one to fit around the remaining part of the mag, and not only would it increase capacity and give a place for the pinky to rest, it would look Great!!! Anyone try this before????
