I have a lead on an early Combatmaster with a cut-down 1911 slide and modified barrel.
Is this a proto or actual production ?
Is it safe to shoot ? Supposedly the cone is silver soldered on making it coming loose a possibility.
Would the value be equal to, less, or more than a MK1 in similar condition ?
I like the idea of an early model but need an actual shooting gun.
