HEADS UP! before you purchase parts from Detonics USA
I recently purchased replacement rear sight, sear spring, extracter and recoil spring from Detonics USA for my 30 year old Combat Master. The new recoil springs is a tri-coil spring VS dual spring but fits/functions great. the rear sight is similar to the original, but didn't fit until modified. The sear spring is conciderably longer and needed modifications on all three prongs (cut shorter, bent and polished etc) to fit properly with the sear and disconnect. The extractor is to long and extends out of the rear of the slide and requires cutting and polishing. Although the parts I received seemed very well made, I found the specs on the new Detonic Combat Master to be very different from the old Detonics and most parts required conciderable modification to fit my old Detonics which was manufactered in Seattle over thirty years ago.
