Russ, I do NOT know how many MK VI's were made, and if you searched this site and others you could have found that in previous posts I have suggested that the Freedom of Information Act be used to find out such information from the ATF. You could also have found out that ALL stainless Combat Masters are prefixed with a CR and that the numbers began with CR 10000. Additionally, you would have learned that the Combat Master line was not the first stainless steel 45's to be made, but the first SUCCESSFUL stainless steel 45's. And it does get kind of redundant repeating information that's been posted before, especially when such information could have been discovered if the inquirer had done some searching. It's not that tough to search really... both the Detonics forums, and virtually all the other 1911 forums with divisions that will cover Detonics, have search features. Take advantage of the resources available!
