I will assume you are the moderator since my last post on this subject vanished.With all due respect to your opinion,the answer Deeton gave to John concerning the early cut and weld combat master is what this forum is all about. Common sense dictates a weld would not likely be as strong as cast or machined in one piece. Deeton was only trying to inform John of possible damage to the gun by excessive use.The early combat masters are what some consider to be true DETONICS,and as I understand the most collectable. I have spoken with Deeton at different times and was g##### the best information possible. I believe he has also done this to the best of his ability on this site as well as others. I really appreciate the advice from someone with Deeton's experience. I would also appreciate a response from you rather than a vanishing act on my post.
