A tight extractor is a possibility. Too soft an extractor can cause other problems. So a GOOD gunsmith can check that out for you.
If you have an aftermarket spring in the gun, it sure wouldn't hurt to obtain a new spring set from Detonics USA website. The original style 3-spring set that they sell seems to me to be just a little stronger than the Seattle Detonics springs were. The price is very reasonable too.
