OK, so my wife lost her job today, and that means I now urgently need to liquidate some assets. I guess that happens a lot when your job has the word "Temporary" in the title - for some reason I expected some prior notice though! My bad luck means anyone shopping for some very nice Detonics .45ACP pistols is in luck!

I've had them for sale for a while, but now I really mean it!

What I have is:

1 MKVI in awesome condition (Cream Puff), with the common 1911 slide release disassmble mark being its main flaw. (Pictured accidentally with the more worn grips, which will be swapped with the nicer ones on my carry gun)

1 MKVI in ever-so-slightly less awesome cosmetic condition. This is the gun I carry when I do carry (rarely). A non-enthusiast would think it looks new or nearly new, but in the right light you can see some very minor finish imperfections. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL GUN. (pictured with my nicer wood grips, which will be swapped with the less shiny ones pictured on the cream puff)

1 MC2 - Now I can't say with 100% certainty, because it is only marked "DETONICS .45" but it described to me by and expert, and unless I am a complete idiot, this gun is an MC2. Very good looking dull matte finish. Also, there is a post on this board by one of the Detonics experts *claiming* that one particular factory gunsmith use to mark the slides like this one when he hand tuned a returned gun. Allegedly, these are very fine and desirable pieces. I can tell you this is by far the slickest trigger and action of the three, but I don't know its history. Everyone who has shot my guns says this is their favorite.
