Depending on the serial number of your MK V, it could have been equipped with a stainless trigger shoe type trigger, or a Videki with an aluminum shoe. In either case the trigger bow would be stainless.
As such, if yours was shipped with a Videki, well, it's my understanding that that's effectively what Detonics USA is selling now. I've heard that their supplier suposedly owns and uses the original Videki tooling to produce the current triggers.
Additionally, a lighter weight trigger is generally considered less likely to instigate a "hammer fall" malfunction.
