Here is a discussion starter for you all out of interest.

If you were buying a new full size 1911 type pistol (factory built not custom) after owning a Detonics Scoremaster (or any type of Detonics knowing the quality) what would it be? (I am not buying one but my Scoremaster has been banned by the Australian Govt) but I am interested to see what, if anything, Detonics shooters think can match up to the Detonics. Would that model be the best base to start custom work on to get a top grade accurate gun?

What about combatmasters size pistols?
