Conley: Thanks for the update re washers & screws, and Wolff springs. I emailed you a couple of months ago offering to buy one of the recoil spring guide rod assemblies; and a couple of weeks ago again e-mailed to ascertain status of the production run on the assemblies. So far I haven't heard back from you apart from receiving from you a copy of my original message to you.
I'd be glad to hear from you regarding my offer to purchase. Are any of the assemblies still ready to ship?
I appreciate your interest in this marque of .45. History posting shows that someone bought the assets of New Detonics (presumably including tooling). Do you know whether that tooling will be put to use in supplying spares for the Detonics pistols that are already in collectors' and users' hands?
My Combat Master fires very well indeed. I'll bet the Para-Ord .45 designers had one in front of them when they did their own work. (P-O is also a honey of a pistol; very sweet LDA operation.) Best wishes, Conley. dbc
