I just recently did some trading and got a blue steel Combat Master with serial number I-7xxx. From some other items I have read this was actually about
in the area of the 5000th gun built. The only stampings on the gun are DETONICS 45 on the left side of the slide, nothing on the right side of the slide and Detonics assoc, Seattle, WA., on the right side of the frame. The gun appears carried a lot but not shot very much. I do need to replace the mainspring housing and would like to replace the recoil springs(2). What poundage springs do I need to use and where could I find a original type mainspring housing???
I have also seen where Metalform made the magazines for the guns and do they still make them or where can I get at least 2 more mags...
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
