Hi folks. I bought a MK VI (Ser.# CR1048X) It does not have a rear sight, and furthermore, it doesn't look like there has ever been a rear sight installed. The inside of the dove tail has no marks at all. Are they a press fit? Also, could someone have ordered it without a rear sight. After all, they are much better for under-the-table work than target shooting.

Also, the magazine has what looks to be a stylized "M" on the bottom. It also hangs up in the grip frame when I try to eject it. Something isn't right. I am going to get a couple of new manufacture Detonics magazines, but if there is a fix somewhere, I will keep the current one also. Thanx for any comments you may have. And will any GI .45 magazine work or should that also be aquired from the new Detonics factory?

I know I read in this thread somewhere a place to get the spacers, but I can't find it off hand. Help. Thanx a lot folks. ~Dick
