I am saddened by the news of Col. Gideon's passing away. I had the pleasure of purchasing a couple of CMs from him. One of the highlights of attending the WA Arms Collector's monthly show was checking out his table and seeing what he had for sale. Very rarely, when the show would have a collector's display competition, he would show his collection of Detonics. What a treat being able to see the history of the marque. Imho his collection would be worth thousand's of dollars. Col. Bob Gideon also collected the .44 Auto Mag. If I remember correctly, he had a picture of himself with Clint Eastwood holding the Auto Mag. He will be missed. Ric
